You might say that they lost traction...

The pass plays by the skins were thrown to perfection. I think that Brunell had a VERY small window to hit Moss on his first TD, that endzone pass was a very tight pass and moss ran the right route to get ahead of his CB, the Safety played forward, but that was because he had 2 other recievers near him who actually beat their man.

The second TD was the result of Moss' speed. The slot ran a post which pulled the safety inside and forward and Moss pretty much had man-to-man coverage. By the time the safety knew what was up it was too late and Moss pulled away with the catch and the yards.

I wouldn't say that Dallas played poorly or even slipped, but the Redskins did exactly what they needed to do....they could've done that earlier in the game and should have because the CB's were all over the place. I'm surprised it took them that long to score.

I never said those two passes weren't hot. In fact...that is exactly what I did say on my first post.

But how do you expect to win football games if you're not going to call plays like that until the very end of the game.

The Skins will go 3-0, who agrees?

by far the worst football game i have ever seen in my entire life. I have seen better offense and defense out of single A high school football teams. Although it is a huge rivalry, it is the biggest waste of MNF in the world and should only be shown on a channel like ESPN Alternate. That is all. By the way im not hatin on either team, i was pullin for the skins just cause my g/fs mom loves the cowboys, and thinks they have super bowl potential every year.

Simply put, a win is a win, no matter if the D slacked off a lil, no matter if the offense finally pulled it's head out of it's ass and remembered they were there to play football.

The skins capitalized on a couple of mistakes and pulled out a win. That's what football is about, capitalizing on the mistakes of the other team, taking advantage of mismatches, and making the most of opportunities handed to you. Basically pulling off the important plays when the chips are down. Am I saying that the Skins are some great team? Am I saying they were the better team overall? Certainly not, but they're my team and I'm going to root for them and I'm going to celebrate when they win. In the end they were the winner and that's all that matters that final score.

not this week.

hahah maeng even Jess called you out

the plays were designed to bait the saftey towards the middle of the field to let moss get behind him. Even captain fucking obvious John Madden pointed that out in the replays.

At this level of play, players dont make mistakes themselves, you force them to make mistakes. I applaud Gibbs for (finally) showing some balls and making gutsy calls that won the game. Thats the Gibbs that won 3 Super Bowls.

it was a fantastic comeback, the skins stepped up and made the plays, end of story. Football is a 2 sided game, and taking advantage of mistakes of your opponent (or forcing him to make them) does not somehow make a win any less of an accomplishment

now piss off!

They don't have a game this weekend, but play Seattle on 2 October. I think they have a ton of confidence, so i will stick by it.
