- Jeff - 09-08-2005 I see some bling in there too...hmmm - JackoliciousLegs - 09-08-2005 I can take a guess as to which one is unreliable. - Mike - 09-08-2005 rex... you'd be better off with: one of these cars is dead sexy, perhaps the best body design ever, while the other is f'ing hideous
- Dave - 09-08-2005 lol honestly, when I got mine, I thought the mkIII was hideous. However, they grew on me a lot and, well, the rest is history. Wish we could have all gotten in a pic of the 4 cool supras in town before you sold your/our pile Rex. Anybody else seen a black one floating around?; I saw it at Highlawn the other night but didn't get a good enough look to tell if it was a TT? As to the TT remark, dem IS fighting words . I've impressed the hell out of a lot of people in my lowly NA, and convinced a few TT owners that the NA isn't a bottom dweller like they think. If a ride is necessary, it can probably be arranged at an upcoming autoX, just wear goggles so your eyes don't pop out of your head (chime in Scotty 8)). BTW, it may be seeing a snail or two before too long FWIW  .
- lyltoy - 09-08-2005 <---- raises hand and waits paitently for a ride  - ScottyB - 09-09-2005 Dave Wrote:lol alot of it is driver, but that "slow" supra can friggen dance. good brakes too. real gooooood brakes! - Dave - 09-09-2005 anybody that wants to ride with me just needs to pipe up and have a helmet in hand at an autoX. I give rides to people in town, but not thrill rides. I don't really "compete" at the autoX and just do it to improve my skills, so anybody that wants to ride with me is more than welcome to come. - .RJ - 09-09-2005 Dave Wrote:anybody that wants to ride with me You know I'm game ![]() Turn in now!!!
- Goodspeed - 09-09-2005 I'm definatley game....all these years I've dreamed about owning my own MKIV and I haven't even ridden in one yet. If you ever need a hand swapping a GTE/6 speed in sometime in the future, count on me being there with all my blood, sweat and tears. Screw work, boost is needed! Peace - WRXtranceformed - 09-09-2005 I'd sell my car for a turbo'd MKIV Supra without thinking twice. - Myuki - 09-09-2005 Goodspeed Wrote:...Screw work, boost is needed! Peace...already turned, he is - H22coupe - 09-09-2005 I would love to take a ride with you.....i really want to go to the next track meet, just need a ride. I have rode in several fds but never a supra, by the way i saw a white fd in wal-mart parking lot yesterday. - Dave - 09-09-2005 I don't really track the supra any more; maybe someday. I do autoX it most of the time though. As for a swap and wrenching, well......... holy thread hijack batman. Forget the supra, props to all of our new guys! - .RJ - 09-10-2005 H22coupe Wrote:white fd *sigh* One of these days. - BLAIR - 09-11-2005 the black mk4 supra lives in ashby.. its NA too.. also there is the white mk4 turbo supra thats auto .....and the dude sucks at life.. also a silver mk3 turbo supra in ashby too... thats what i have seen of new supras around so far - JackoliciousLegs - 09-12-2005 .RJ Wrote:Yeah.... as soon as I'm out of the city...H22coupe Wrote:white fd*sigh* Been eyeing this baddy for a couple weeks now - .RJ - 09-12-2005 64k miles = time for an engine replacement
- Kaan - 09-12-2005 oh RJ its got at least another year before it needs a new one... 80-100k... then its a time bomb. - Dave - 09-12-2005 Blair, get on that and find out if the black mkIV owner is as much of a asshat as the white one. |
