well not so much on aftercoolers...but we have a plethera( i love using that word) of other choices..
most popular is intercooler...there are many companies that have these and are very effective.
also you can go with water/alchol injection ....basicly misting water to cool the air
i am going a different route for cooling...zzp the premier company for wbody cars does a lot of test and developing new products.They work with comp cams and made the NIC (non-intercooled cam).
~(here comes some technical stuff for those who care)~
This cam has a lot of valve overlap helps to maximize performance of a non-intercooled engine by using some of the incoming boost to push out the combustion chamber exhaust gas. Also, has large split pattern and extra long exhaust duration maximize exhaust efficiency and exhaust lobe has a slower ramp rate and wider seat to seat.

wow, a cam designed specifically for SC cars. That is pretty damn cool.
GTP = cool car and auto doesn't necessarily mean slower drag. An automatic allows your car to be more consistent and when paired up with the right torque converter or built properly can be a force to be reckoned with. Now, I'll say that rowing through the gears will always be more fun, but for a drag racer an auto isn't all bad. A lot of supra owners who want to drag thier car look for automatics.

yeah ... 3500 stall convereter = happiness
however race tranny cost about $1,500. which really isntso bad but i dont have that money right now

wow, race tranny for $1500, that's an awesome deal. I can get a 6spd for mine with 80k miles for $3k on a good day :-).
