First day it was registered, I decided to take my car buddy at work to lunch (we usually walk). Long story short, lady came in to Subway asking who owned the Honda in the parking lot. Looked like she was pointing past mine, and there were like four in the lot, so I didn't think anything of it.
Went out and checked my car after she left, uttered a few choice words, and bolted a half mile down the street to catch her. After informing her that indeed, it was my fucking car, we called up Geico and settled everything. I'm not really upset - I mean shit happens. The timing was just incredible. Drove a pile for 6 years, buy a new car, and it gets hit the same day. I should've backed it in - I have a nice scratch on the front that would've been nice to get fresh paint over.
Dropped her off at the bodyshop today.
After jumping the e30 and driving it for the first time in a month, it's just not the same.
How exactly did the broad back into yours anyway?
EDIT: My OEM lip came in the mail over the weekend.

Turned down an aisle in the parking lot right after her. There was an open spot right as we turned in, but we both passed it. She then hits the brakes (when I say uhoh, i see what is happening here) and starts reversing to get it. I tried to pop it in to R, but as you already know, it's not as easy to get in to as in most other cars. I slam the horn, too late. CRUNCH

yeah, but you've gotta consider the can't just repsray and be done. they're going to have to blend with the quarter panels to make it look 100%

I hate how this never happens to beaters.. only cars you want to put the money back into for the actual repairs.
