Personally I'm willing to pay significantly more for something really nice but I'm not sure what is out there and what things will cost. i'm there also. just as long as it isn't "too" much. but yeah, quality over quanity.....or something like that. - Ryan T - 06-29-2005 VBD is getting some prices for me as we speak. I asked for prices on a few different types. I too want something of good quality, but I'm not paying $50 for a MM windbreaker and I don't think many others will either. - lillitnn92 - 06-30-2005 $50 is high, but doable. but lower would be excellent. - G.Irish - 06-30-2005 I'd be more than willing to pay $50 if it meant we got a high quality product. But it just depends on what we're getting for our money. If a $30 windbreaker means we can get something of suitable quality and durability then no reason to spend the extra $20 but if $30 only buys something chincy that would only last one season then I'd say spend more to get something that will last. - JohnC - 06-30-2005 G.Irish Wrote:I'd be more than willing to pay $50 if it meant we got a high quality product. I feel the same way - would pay for something quality. - bassmangrammy - 06-30-2005 Ok...it all depends on what you guys want. The cheap ones, 20 to 25 bones, can be described as coaches jackets with buttons in the front and a worthless material. It would be pricy, but the thing to do would be to do the microfiber "real" windbreaker. In the 60 range. I can have more details in a few hours but yeah. Also...screen printing is not going to look good. I say embroder the MM logo on the front pocket and do nothing on the back. I'll post a full quote and a picture example in a few. - Ryan T - 06-30-2005 I won't be paying $60 for a windbreaker. If thats the route that everyone wants to take, we'll make that order, but I won't be paying that much for one. - Mike - 06-30-2005 Aaron, what kind of minimum numbers are we talking? Maybe we can get both? - Ryan T - 06-30-2005 Just got the email with prices from VBD along with pics, here they are: The first is a cheaper "Coaches" button / snap up jacket. This is the cheapest option on these styles of jackets. With a 2 location, 2 color sceenprint (chest and back), price is 25.50 each with a total of 40.00 set-up charge. For the same jacket embroidered, 32.50 each, with a 75.00 set-up charge. The second jacket is a full zip windbreaker, with a lttle different styling. Screenprinted same as above, 41.95 each, with the same 40.00 set-up. Embroidered, 49.95 each, with a 75.00 set-up. ![]()
- Mike - 06-30-2005 does sos have these setup fees as well? what vbd needs to understand is we've already paid all these fees at sos, and it is just money down the drain for us to be repaying them for the same thing. ryan, your pics don't work. you can't link them from your mail account. - Ryan T - 06-30-2005 I'll fix the pics in a second. SOS does have re-screening fee's as well I believe. Because they would be put on a different material. I believe my other post with the SOS quotes said that they have a $100 screening fee. - JohnC - 06-30-2005 Screw that coaches jacket shit, look what it did to his hair! - Ryan T - 06-30-2005 well the zip up one turned his hair grey, so I guess its a trade off. We can all have coaches jackets that button up with funky hair or zip up jackets and all go grey. - lillitnn92 - 06-30-2005 Ryan T Wrote:well the zip up one turned his hair grey, so I guess its a trade off. We can all have coaches jackets that button up with funky hair or zip up jackets and all go grey. well, lets see. as of today, i'm completely bald, took razor to my head, so no worries about bad hair style. i already have grey in my goatee, so no biggie there either ![]() guess either is fine for me, but the second option is nice. - bassmangrammy - 07-01-2005 Yeah...I'm not down with the coaches jacket, but we could place an order for both? - Ryan T - 07-01-2005 I think we have to order a certain amount in order to get the deal. - bassmangrammy - 07-01-2005 I'll check on that. - Myuki - 07-01-2005 i like the zip up one more, but because of price, we'd have to see how much support there would be for each one. - .RJ - 07-02-2005 JohnC Wrote:Screw that coaches jacket shit, look what it did to his hair!
