when i rode in Rex's supra (when Dave owned it) it sounded like a dual setup, although it was stock. whatever it was, it sounded great.

I imagine it sounds that way due to the pipe routing. The aft turbo is much much closer to the recirc valve than the fore turbo, perhaps making two happy noises.

If i remember right that was brought up in the thread. I believe the guy tried to give some technical answer as to how it was beneficial to the motor, i might be wrong though, its been a while since I read it and i could be getting posts mixed up.
