- ScottyB - 06-08-2005 nice pics Evan, those skidpad ones are sweet. you rolled the Noble? are you sure he was using gears 2 through 6? - BLINGMW - 06-08-2005 Evan Wrote:yeah, I rolled it. twice good god. WHY do people bother buying fast expensive cars just to take them out for touring laps? Isn't it wholely embarasing for them or do they just not get it? - Mike - 06-08-2005 They want to be able to tell their coworkers "Yeah I took the Noble out to the track this weekend." - BLINGMW - 06-08-2005 Mike Wrote:They want to be able to tell their coworkers "Yeah I took the Noble out to the track this weekend." yeah, but you could just tell them that! Without the embarasment of getting your ass kicked at the track. Your co-workers wouldn't know either way  I should stop. I should just be glad that they came to the right place istead of figuring out the car on some back country road. Yeah. - CaptainHenreh - 06-08-2005 ScottyB Wrote:you rolled the Noble? are you sure he was using gears 2 through 6? He was *only* using gear six. :-p - damnit458 - 06-08-2005 Mike Wrote:They want to be able to tell their coworkers "Yeah I took the Noble out to the track this weekend." "Yeah I took the noble out, but I got rolled by this sick miata. Must have had atleast 500 hp, probably all of which came from that badass performance module I saw on ebay the other day. DAMNIT, I knew I should have bought it while it was still up there." - .RJ - 06-08-2005 Mike Wrote:They want to be able to tell their coworkers "Yeah I took the Noble out to the track this weekend." And their airhead trophy wife and support group of friends can surround him (while wearing his pimpy sparco driver suit) when he comes back into the paddock after getting rolled by 100hp cars and inflate his ego even further.... Oh well. Sucks to be stupid. - Mike - 06-08-2005 But it is awesome to have money and a trophy wife! Don't hate bitches! Weeeeeeeee! lol - Evan - 06-08-2005 I talked with the Noble owner for a while. Actually a really cool guy and not some rich prick all. He is an advanced driver, who has been tracking an NX2000 for a few years. (what a change!) It was his first time out in the Noble, so he was understandably taking it relatively easy. (although at 2400 lbs and 350hp it should still be fast!) When I rolled him I had a passenger, so I do have a couple witnesses :p (But no video) I do have video of me walking him down later on saturday, but the session ended before I could get him. Had a great fight with a 993 on monday too. The car is impressive though, I love it. 2400 lbs, twin snail V6. A turnkey car is only $80k and a new engine is only $5k if you miss a shift. The interior is pretty damn pimp in a raw sportscar kind of way. Suede and aluminum covering everything, fixed back racing buckets, integrated roll cage, etc. I have to say it is my newest car of lust and Id take one over a 911 any day. - ScottyB - 06-08-2005 Noble's are def. sweet....i bet its great to see them in action in their natural environment! - white_2kgt - 06-08-2005 Evan Wrote:I talked with the Noble owner for a while. My instructor was in his beat E30 and passed the noble, then you I should have given you the finger.--chad - Evan - 06-08-2005 hahah Jerry's E30 M3 is all of the sudden a "beat E30" ? Take a look at cobetto's spec e30 (or just about any spec e30) now those are some beat-ass busted cars! Too bad I had a yellow student or I would have gone out and rolled you too
- Mike - 06-08-2005 yellow as in asian? - damnit458 - 06-08-2005 Mike Wrote:yellow as in asian? Im not sure whether your being sarcastic or not, but I believe he means yellow as in inexperienced (amateur) - Mike - 06-08-2005 I honesty wasn't sure what he meant. I hadn't heard the yellow = amateur before. - damnit458 - 06-08-2005 I might be wrong, just a guess. I dont hear yellow used in the way I said very often, but Im sure ive heard it that way before. Actually, a better def might be inexperienced/scared - Evan - 06-08-2005 Seriously Mike, It takes talent to be that stupid. Common sense. Reading in context. Its not hard. What about having an asian student would prevent me from going out in the same group as Chad? And who the fuck calls asian people yellow anyways? (the proper term is "slanteyes", ask maeng) yellow is the intermediate group with carguys (also BMW club, porsche club and others). Which was also the same group chad ran in for the day. - white_2kgt - 06-08-2005 Evan Wrote:Seriously Mike, It takes talent to be that stupid. Common sense. Reading in context. Its not hard. Don't hate, mike only knows the NASA way, 1, 2, 3, 4. We should be glad he can count. You'll have your chance this weekend. 3 and 4 and running together  --chad - Evan - 06-08-2005 woowoo! big block goin' down!
