You would not believe the amount of old, rusty, busted ass, exhaust and driveshaft falling out caprices, buicks, monte carlos, etc, etc on 22" spinnerz and daytons driving around this town.... It looks like they had to get a lift kit to fit those dayum reeumz in the fenders.

and lee, the tires are pretty decent in the wet. i havent had any problems on wet pavement aside from at summit sunday morning in the wet. the tread is pretty even on all four tires.

Would they fit on a 17 x 8" rim with a +48 offset ? I a newb to rims, excuse my ignorance of the significance of these numbers.

they will fit. my reeeuummmzz are 17x7.5 so they'll definitely fit yours. you can go with something wider too but dont let me discourage you from buying my rubba.
