They are not $150 a piece racing tires, they are $55 a piece summer tires, and I have never had problems with hydroplaning or grip in the dry. Most people seem to think they perform just fine in both wet and dry conditions.

Reading is fundamental

My Azenis (and from what I hear, ES100s) are not $150/ea racing tires either. They gripped better in wet and dry. Go figure... Ooohhh Ooohhh my current Avid H4 all-seasons also beat the 711s in all categories and they even work in the snow!

Azenis = $68/each Smile (205/50/15)

I've probably been to half of them in the burg, whoever would do it for $10/tire on that day I'd take the wheels up and drop them off.

- JackoliciousLegs - 02-09-2005

- Mike - 02-09-2005

yes, they aren't quite as bling anymore...

- JackoliciousLegs - 02-09-2005

lol. seriously, would you recommend me to stay away with my crusted 15 year old wheels?

- Mike - 02-09-2005

i know how you are...

- Feersty - 02-09-2005

Yeah Jack why not get new rims, something nice, something subtle?

- Mike - 02-09-2005

yeah because money is no object!

- Andy - 02-09-2005

Jack, go to Ray Carr. They installed two tires for me, and didn't scratch up my rims and best of all, they do it for 10 bucks a tire. They're pretty honest too.

where the f did this come from :?:

PS... Changed the tires at Monro... they did a fine job. Tires feel awesome. Definitely MUCH grippier than the pepboys specials that were on there before
