Bling, and cheap. And, the VR-4 actually weighs like 400lbs *more* than the Z, so hopefully they'll stay together on track...

Point of reference is the smaller rotor next to the bigger one.

What's those speed holes for in the new one? Smile

Rotor on the left is 11". The rotor on the right is 12.5" 8)

i'm pretty sure we could fit one of mike's rotors in the hat of the rotor on the right

- Evan - 02-06-2005

new caliper brackets too I assume?

include the black ring and i think you're right.

Yes, they should be here next week, along with the spacers and studs.

Here are some pictures from a test fit last night:

Old rotor and caliper placement:

New rotor and relocated caliper:

Other side - showing how the bracket attaches (I cut away most of the dust shield on the other side, you can't see it in the pictures though):

I'm not so sure - look at where the rotor pulls air from.

Dust sheilds + Proper ducting is always the 'best' setup.

doesnt matter. dust shields are blocking the air flow into the rotor.

The one on the passenger side is gone already - the caliper won't fit with it on. The one on the driver's side (which you see in the picture) will be taken off tonight.

exactly. Anything preventing air from getting at it in any way or holding heat in is preventing cooling.

Pad temps may be uneven - if you care.
