- JohnC - 01-28-2005 Wow, nobody called me on the creative math. 15 runs, 45 seconds a run. Thats more like 11 minutes 15 seconds of seat time... $2.22/min. Math owns me. - BLINGMW - 02-14-2005 hock: The Charlotte track uses those Sodi karts Matt was bragging about a while back. Those things are AWESOME (9HP) compared to the 5.5HP karts I'm used to. And these were in excellent shape. Drift machines if you want them to be! It took a lot more work to keep it in line, and to fight the temptation to go opposite lock everywhere. Our team (me and a couple ex-coworkers from Essex) pulled 6th out of 15 teams. And that's with 2 unfortunate accidents compliments of yours truely. A very good lap was a low 32, we pulled a few low 33's.Here's a short vid if you've never seen these karts in action. Or the track there. VERY busy and very technical. Not a moment's rest, I was ALWAYS turning. A must visit if you're ever nearby. Apparently I am #8 according to Jess in this warmup round. I can't tell who I am. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wNzg1Mzk5NnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D |
