Any idea as to if he could place the new design on the back of the hoodie and put the trademark logo on the front? Just curious, sure that it would cost more but I know that I would pay more for it that way Smile .

I know he could... but would you want it all embroidered or just printed. the printing on sweatshirts won't hold up as well.

most likely all embroidered, but that all depends on the cost, if to expensive printed will do just fine...

I would be interested in a large black hoodie. The new logo on the back with the old MM on the front would be cool. I would probably pay the extra for embroidering.
Also any idea on tanktops? My girlfriend is interested in one.

Here is the response from Brian regarding all the items. Let me know if there is a shirt that everyone wants (long sleeve shirt or polo it looks like) and we could do that. If you need numbers or a specific item I would call him directly.

Sorry for late response, as I have been working on your alls decals.

As far as this list goes with additional merchandise, I guess I need to
start with letting you all know of minimum quantities for orders.
Typically our minimum quantities on apparel items is 24 per item. (Like
we have done on the t-shirt order). If you can go through the
catalogues I gave you, and pick out a couple of styles you could all
agree on, that would be the easy way to do it. If you no longer have
them, I can get you newer catalogues (2005).

Being that we have not done any embroidery for you guys before, we
would need a copy of the embroidery edit that your previous supplier
would have. If you cannot get that, the embroider we use would charge a
set-up fee to generate a new edit tape. This can typically range from
$75.00 to $120.00, depending on the complexity of the artwork.

As far as decals, or magnetics, we do that stuff in house. I can get
quotes together for you on some items, but this can vary depending on
size, complexity of design, and wether or not we need to design
artwork.

Racing graphics, number panels (vinyl or magnetic), and vehicle decals
are what we specialize in, and once again can vary from vehicle to
vehicle. We would probably need to estimate these on a case by case
basis. (Example : Magnetic number panels will work great for "DE"
events, but would need to be sized correctly for car doors with
moldings along center of door. May blow off at high rate of speeds on a
300Z turbo, so vinyl may be the answer on this application.)

Vinyl is removable, but not reusable. Before application on car door,
for example, wax the surface , then put on the decals. Comes off very
easily after events. If you guys have ever seen the yellow GT3 driving
around town with numbers on the doors, this is what he does. We cut new
number decals for almost every event he runs, and then he peels them
off afterwards.

Yadda...yadda...yadda.Geez, how long is this e-mail getting (sorry).

Any way, I think the best way to do it is, if anyone wants stuff for
their cars, call me. If you all want apparel, try to settle on a couple
of styles, and get a quantity order together. You will pay out of the
ass to get ones and twos of some things, in regards to set-up, etc.

Let me know. (433-3128) or brian@vbdgraphics.com

Thanks,

Brian

ok, I'll bring em'

- Chris - 02-03-2005

We took an order for hoodies last night at the meeting. The hoodies seem to be the most popular item and we need a min. of 24 for an order.

If you have not listed in this thread the color and size hoodie you want or did not sign the sheet last night please let me know. We're up to 23 now and I know some people have not ordered.

I'll check into color options and the embroidery fee.

**Mike or G, do you know who made the hoodies last time and if we can get the embroidery file thing from them??

Any clue on a price for the hoodie?

- JackoliciousLegs - 02-03-2005

I'd almost like to go back to SOS if they're not that much more expensive. I think they did a better job with the TShirts...

I'll check prices at both, but VBD is going to be doing a LOT for us and I'd like to give them business when possible. Besides, they are a motorsports based company- why not help out those in our sport?

- Mike - 02-03-2005

assuming the shirts are similar quality, i'm with chris.

- WRXtranceformed - 02-03-2005

I told Scotty I'd be interested in a hoodie. Don't care about the price.

Size L for me preze ~!

Oh I still haven't gotten a T-shirt either =( Who do I need to pleasure to attain one ?

- white_2kgt - 02-04-2005

Quotes:

I have a quote
on the Gildan #9500 ( Black and Grey).

$24.00 for (S-XL) with embroidery , per peice.
$26.00 for (XXL) with embroidery, per peice.

These prices are based on you guys having the artwork edit. If not,
figure on $75.00 - $100.00 for art set-up.

I found another supplier that carries the same LEE SuperHeavy Weight
#86010, in grey and black. (we used this last time)

Prices are as follows, with embroidery:

$30.00 each for (S-XL) - black or grey
$32.00 each for (XXL) - black or grey

Same deal witht the embroidery edit. These prices are based on 24 or
more of style #.

- G.Irish - 02-11-2005
