Wal-mart is so hit and miss. On one occassion, they were very professional, and an excellent value. On another occassion, they mounted my 'hama's backwards.
Honestly, I'd rather have them consistently suck. For all my tire business I go to Big L tire in Harrisonburg, the one by cracker barrel. Those dudes know their shit, and have no problem whatsoever doing what I tell them. When I went to get the Pilot Sports mounted for the 240, Wal-mart told me:
They can't put a different size than stock on a car,
They can't put two different sizes of tire on a car,
and that they can't put "low profile" tires on a car.
I asked them, "Ok, so if a Mercedez Bens SLK came in here and wanted new tires, you couldn't sell them to him?" Well of course we could sell him tires!, they replied. So I said, "Well dickhead, that's what these tires are OEM equipment on an SLK, now mount them!" He stuttered and stammered and said I could talk to his manager when he got in...tomorrow.
I took them to Big L, told them what I wanted and said "OK, come back in a half hour."
And they were cheaper! Stand-up guys, I tell ya.

i take mine to a tire place in an industrial park near Gs house... 6 pack of Bud (5.50) and i have 4 tires put on :-P i just know when to go... around 330pm.... he's thirsty at that point. NEVER had an issue though... my car, my parents cars, the old work trucks... he'll do it all :wink:
