- Sijray21 - 01-03-2005 I'll probably be working this event if i don't have a ski race that weekend. I wish i could drive, but i doubt i'll get my car back by then. - damnit458 - 01-05-2005 Yeah I think Im gonna try and work also. God/Club-willing Ill be working all the events up until June atleast. - white_2kgt - 01-05-2005 added a list of drivers/workers to the original post. correct me if I'm wrong or make a post if you need to be added or have something changed. this will help us out in picking grid space when we get there. I'm ariving Friday am. --chad - JohnC - 01-05-2005 white_2kgt Wrote:added a list of drivers/workers to the original post. correct me if I'm wrong or make a post if you need to be added or have something changed. this will help us out in picking grid space when we get there. I'm ariving Friday am. Jess will be working - probably grid. Speaking of grid space, I'll probably be towing the Z down there, so leave room for the Lightning too We'll be there probably mid-afternoon on Friday. I haven't decided if I'll try to work a half-day or just take the whole day off to prepare - it's only a two-ish hour drive so it won't be too bad...

I'm ariving Friday am. thanks Chad. Laura put me into group 2, but I emailed her and asked to be put back in 1 since I haven't driven at VIR and this will only be my 3rd event. Maybe after this one I'll be ready for group 3. - Mike - 01-05-2005 i'm figuring out my finances before committing... need a new set of 15x7 wheels and to figure out my braking situation... whether i stick with the stock civic fronts and toss another $100 at new pads, or i try to piece together an integra setup, which would require more labor that i don't want to do in the cold. Ok I changed it, but maybe you should try group 2 before jumping into group 3 .MichaelJComputer Wrote:i'm figuring out my finances before committing... need a new set of 15x7 wheels and to figure out my braking situation... whether i stick with the stock civic fronts and toss another $100 at new pads, or i try to piece together an integra setup, which would require more labor that i don't want to do in the cold. Dude, just run what you've been running all along and come get some more seat time, lord knows you need it. hock:  mongooze Wrote:white_2kgt Wrote:Hotel is the Sleep Inn dammit, try now. you probably have the right place. I'm not having good luck w/ hotels and VIR for some reason... --chad Re: VIR 2/18/05 - Mike - 01-05-2005 white_2kgt Wrote:MichaelJComputer Wrote:i'm figuring out my finances before committing... need a new set of 15x7 wheels and to figure out my braking situation... whether i stick with the stock civic fronts and toss another $100 at new pads, or i try to piece together an integra setup, which would require more labor that i don't want to do in the cold. i don't have any brake pads left dummy. running what i've got would be $100 in pads that i might only use once. I bet you will buy some now hu? --chad - Mike - 01-05-2005 nah, might as well just plop the dough on some xp8s, i wasn't too pleased with the 9s, especially after the one pad broke in half... - white_2kgt - 01-05-2005 MichaelJComputer Wrote:nah, might as well just plop the dough on some xp8s, i wasn't too pleased with the 9s, especially after the one pad broke in half... its the same compound just different heat ranges. you are not going to run XP's on the street are you??? --chad - Evan - 01-05-2005 there is no reason you cant use ultimates on your pile. unless you suck at braking, that is - Mike - 01-05-2005 white_2kgt Wrote:MichaelJComputer Wrote:nah, might as well just plop the dough on some xp8s, i wasn't too pleased with the 9s, especially after the one pad broke in half... have before, ain't no thang. evan, it isn't a miata. i'd rather spend the extra few bucks (over ultiamtes) and get the xp8s. - navin - 01-05-2005 i'll help you swap over those st00pid integra brakes if you want, its freakishly nice outside lately.. and i got the bligny harborfreight impact now
