a few more spaces remain - NASAlaura - 01-06-2005 Sat Jan 8 is the banquet, and we still have 4 spaces left for karting if anyone is interested! The cost for karting plus dinner and free beer is $50 which is a pretty good deal I think. For karting you must be there by 3:15 Sat. If dinner only, the cost is $18 per person (Jamaica house catered) and dinner starts around 7PM. The winner of the karting gets a free HPDE or race weekend and there are raffle prizes too. E-mail me at laura@nasaracing.net if you have any questions. Or call 804-275-3141. Laura Cobetto - Mike - 01-06-2005 come on guys! it's only an hour and a half away from school! - G.Irish - 01-16-2005 How did the banquet go? - Dragon - 01-18-2005 Mike got rolled! - Mike - 01-18-2005 matt got rolled 2/3 of the time. - Dragon - 01-18-2005 Don't remember seeing you in the top 10. - Mike - 01-18-2005 i was most of the night. ahead of you actually... - .RJ - 01-18-2005 Yay for mikey rules! - Dragon - 01-18-2005 MichaelJComputer Wrote:i was most of the night. ahead of you actually...Ah yes, but in the end, you got rolled, and weren't top 10, and then wasn't standing on the winners podium. - Mike - 01-18-2005 .RJ Wrote:Yay for mikey rules! bing bing! - G.Irish - 01-18-2005 Matt you got podium? - Mike - 01-19-2005 he did. 2nd or 3rd i believe after a poor showing in all runs but his last. something clicked or he got a really good kart

Maybe its the fact that he gets more kart seat time than any of us? - Mike - 01-19-2005 would certainly help, but that doesn't really explain why his times dropped dramatically on his last run of the day. - Dragon - 01-19-2005 Considering I had the same kart every time, you can't say it was the kart. I was shaving off 2/10 of a second every session, 25.775 the first session, 25.571 the 2nd, and then 25.254 the third, so it's not like my times dropped dramatically on my last run, it was a steady decline. Dropped another 2/10 during the run-off 25.030 (that one you can blame on the kart if you want since I didn't have the same kart in the run-off that I did in the qualifying sessions). Oh and G I got 3rd. - Mike - 01-19-2005 .3 from your 2nd to 3rd is pretty dramatic. either way, you did well and nobody is denying that. - Dragon - 01-19-2005 MichaelJComputer Wrote:.you did well and nobody is denying that.Oh I know you're just busting my chops man, just like I was busting yours about gettin rolled. You were pretty quick the whole time. I was hoping to have you in the final 10 to race with, but it was fun to battle with Shugg & Brian Smith. |
