Oh dude, i was just kidding. I don't care at all. Dave's supra is super pretty.

cool, yes it is, but it spends too much time parked at sheetz, dosen't seem right.

so while we are on exhausts. where did his go? any more these days i've been wanting to put something on that would make mine real quiet. but i would loose too much top end. Flowmaster has been the best for me, but after a while the sound gets annoying.

Welcome, Mr. Import From DragVA. Dave's muffler fell off. That's it, it just fell off. His old stock exhaust is sitting under my deck, waiting to be put back on.

I know JayRay had talked about some congressman meeting with him and a buddy of his or something about getting the law revised. Because the VA law is completely subjective and completely undefendable. If the cop says it's louder, than it's louder, even if it isn't. You can take it to court, and depending on the Judge's whim and your argument you MIGHT get it thrown out, but if you have modified your exhuast, even with a non-oem-but-oem-spec-with-a-shiney-tip, the law fucks you hard in the ass. I hate to be crude, but that is exactly what happens.

And that's wrong.

I want an exhaust cutout on my car - all the good sounding benifits and none of the fuss.

The cop wanted me to rev my car, thank God I have a EVO2, the two big ass resonators saved me from another ticket. Has anyone gotten a speeding ticket in the burg, are they lenient at all.

I got pulled 70 in a 35 and the cop let me off. I was on my way to church though..

seriously, cutouts rock. can you pass inspection with one in view (like, is it illegal to have one or something?)

It is my understanding that people block them off (with a blockoff plate that normally comes with the cutout) when they go for inspection. Since you only have to do it once a year, crawling underneath your car to remove your dumppipe and replace it with a blockoff plate really isn't that big of a deal.

All you silly kids and your VA safety inspections - in MD you have to pass inspection when you buy the car and pass emissions every 2 years. When I went for emissions, they didn't even look under the car - just put it on the dyno and tested the tailpipe smog (On OBDII cars all you have to do is pass a computer based test - just reset the computer and run for 2 days to set the readiness codes).

all you silly kids and your emissions inspections - in harrisonburg you have to pass safety every year (called "buy the guy a soda and slap him a five") and you're good to go.

ah, I miss those good 'ol days. I STILL don't have a legal car down here because of emissions inspections.
