- ScottyB - 12-10-2004 it seems unfortunate too that most of these high tech traction/handling systems carry a weight penalty as well. in almost every case i feel like the weight offsets the benefit of the system, like with the old SUPER HICAS rws system (sorry John...ps i still love Z's) - Dave - 12-10-2004 eh, HICAS is alright, but in the end it's just something else expensive to break and have to remove or repair. If I had HICAS on the 240, i'd tear it out for weight savings, simplicity, and possibly getting money back. If I remember correctly, John took it out of the 300 as well. - JohnC - 12-10-2004 Dave Wrote:If I remember correctly, John took it out of the 300 as well. Yup. - Chris - 12-10-2004 well good stuff, glad to have learned more about the SH. Sounds like its nice for a twisty backroad, but if it can't function properly in an autox then it doesn't seem worth it. If I had one, it would def be an autox car but wouldn't see the track. - Dave - 12-10-2004 Chris Wrote:If I had one, it would def be an autox car but wouldn't see the track.Easy to say right now!
