I can see it now, some OG's will come to the first meeting of each semester, we'll dress in robes and hand out nicknames like they did in animal house.

"Your MM member name is 'Sparkplug'"

- Kaan - 12-02-2004

lol, thats not a bad idea ... but to get a name like spark plug they would have to hold the wrench and short out the battery at the same time... or at least be a guy that snapped a spark plug off in the block.

- Dragon - 12-02-2004

I think we can definitely designate Kaan as Bluto for sure.

- Kaan - 12-02-2004

umm, i'm an OG, i dont get a nicname bitch.

even though i've hydrolocked a motor and hit a bear.

- bassmangrammy - 12-02-2004

What kind of bear was it?

- Mike - 12-02-2004

- bassmangrammy - 12-02-2004

We OG's can still have nicknames if we choose, I just nominate you to be Bluto since he was the one that handed out the pledge pins and nicknames.

- Mike - 12-02-2004

matt you're no og.

- Dragon - 12-02-2004

All depends on your definition of OG my friend. If you're talking original officers who helped get the thing off the ground, then no I'm not. If you're talking about the original core membership that was involved in events and such for that first year then yes. Meh whatever, I'll just be "Matt", the non-alumni, non-jmu student, non-OG, non-whatever other categories members fall into.

- Mike - 12-02-2004

damn right.

og in my mind = involved with the club's inception or married to someone involved in the club's inception.

maybe we should put a definition in the constitution?

which reminds me, lets put the cosntitution online! woot!

- Dragon - 12-02-2004

Wait so you're telling me that when RJ finally finds some state that will allow him and whatever future gay lover he has to get married, that guy will automatically become an OG, something just ain't right with that.

- .RJ - 12-02-2004

Dental records, matt.

yes indeed. Jess, Julie, and I discussed this last night- we'd like a committee to amend the consitution with input and suggestions from the members and present it at a meeting. then post it online.

- CaptainHenreh - 12-02-2004

Two committees!

Dazzling!

- Dragon - 12-02-2004

Don't forget a committee to oversee the two subcommittees and approve any suggestions made by those two committees.

- Chris - 12-02-2004

SEE THREAD UNDER EVENTS FOR COMMITTEE STUFF.
