I'm getting nuthin for Christmas - BLINGMW - 12-16-2004
for those who haven't heard, GT4 release has been pushed back:
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) announced a new ship date for US gamers. Gran Turismo 4 moves from a ship date of December 14 to a ship date sometime in the January-to-March window of next year.

that's hilarious. I'll be surprised if it's true, but I guess that'd be cool. Of course, then I'll feel even worse that I don't have the network adapter. I hate to think that they're throwing in network access at the last minute though.... :roll: That could suck.

saw gt4 at jgtc this weekend... the game visually doesn't look much different from gt3. those screenies are all bs, as we expected. the only noticeable differences (from watching people play, i can't comment on physics) are that tachs now have different looking redlines, new cars, and there appeared to be a different tire status monitor...

OTOH, I'm a little happy to see some more BMW's! Too bad it's all new ones.*edit* links fixed, the guy changed up the site completly last night. And maybe the trucks do make sense? I mean, you DO see a lot of them at the track.
Not ON the track.... but maybe there's a towing stage now? :lol: (Challenge: H'burg to Summit Point with your HC car in tow. Driver's meeting at 8AM. It's 7AM and you just finished loading up. GO!!)

Yeah I'm not very excited about GT4 at all. I might actually pony up the money to get a decent setup for GPL and LFS instead. I suppose I should play GT4 so I can win the inevitable MM GT4 Tournament though.

GTR is looking promising. although the handling/physics is too arcadey for my taste.

seriously man, you are wrong! LFS is the best. Did you ever drive the kart? Sure, most of the cars don't have much grip, but it's a realistic lack of grip, they just have shitty tires. I still maintain you have it setup wrong. But the kart, man, that's a different story. It's got stick. And more cars are coming soon.....
