I had the same thought until 3 seconds later when I remembered that the oil pan is 3 inches from the ground and shaped just like every rock you'll smack it on and that replacing a pan on this car is a huge PITA.

Oh yeah, MM Price, $2000 or something. I had a lot of interest that I had to turn down since I posted it on a day followed by 6 straight days of me not having time to show the car to anyone. Guess I shot myself in the foot there. Going up on CL tonight I guess.

Some 18 year old who lives locally. I basically tried to tell him all the reasons not to buy it (not many) and they were still certain it was worth asking price, which I don't disagree with. I also had someone who was super interested lined up to look today as well if that fell through.

Ahh a young(er) Jake Thiewes. An ETA motor and all. Wonder if he will rattle can it blue.

I think Jake will agree this car is leagues better than his ETA. This kid's dad builds custom cars and sells them for big money. I'm not worried about him. We'll probably see this thing restored and on EAG soon.

Good, because it was a joke.

One day we will teach you the ways of selling things. Although I guess if you tried to convince him to not buy it, and he bought it, it worked out in the end.

This car is like 9,000 leagues ahead of my Eta. Mine sucked.

Your sales tactics are severely flawed.

Helps me sleep better at night. I don't want to sell a car to someone knowing something is wrong with it and not telling them.

Clearly not. Watch the vinwiki on selling Lotus'. The more you tell them why the car is miserable the more people wanted to buy it.

RE: FS: 1987 BMW 325 - Apoc - 11-28-2018

miserable by design != miserable by age

FS: 1987 BMW 325 - JustinG - 11-28-2018

It's a Lotus, not a 30yr old e30.

RE: FS: 1987 BMW 325 - JPolen01 - 11-28-2018

Hey miserable is miserable in my book.
