Someone in the club needs to purchase and hold onto a nitrous kit for times such as these. NOS makes everything better.

Tyler's shirt really matches the ~*aEsThEtIc*~ of the van. I dig it.

See if you can bolt up some Taurus SHO wheels to it.

my best friend's family in high school had a red windstar just like that, with a horrific baby blue factory stripe package on the side.

on a clear day it found the speed limiter between Nags Head and Hatteras with 5 teenagers in it, hypothetically of course.

with rock hard all-seasons, an open diff, and a big torquey V6 it will pegleg for days. looking forward to the video footage....

Make it a Ute? Sawzall + a bit of welding = win. Might hurt the resale value a bit.

Changed the oil, and put new wipers on for the drive down. Pulled the front wheels off and poked around. Everything is tight, brakes are "okay", but the wheels definitely aren't pointing the same direction and pulls hard right. (never let Tyler be the one to test drive)

Docket for tomorrow is wire up party speakers, get the wheels straighter for the 4 hour drive down, and re route the washer sprayer lines to spray the tires. I did a few dry runs of burnies today and she almost wants to spin, so I think she'll be ready to go when we lube her up.

Also, added the most crucial mod.

I drove this van last night.

It is not fast and it does not want to do sicc burnies. Zach made me pull out into 60+ mph traffic on Route 7, which was uncomfortable. I and the van groaned with equal amounts of displeasure while doing so. The 3.8L was... an engine, with some power and some torque, but I believe the General all-seasons are not yet dry-rotted to the ideal age that allows for maximum slippage.

I can't imagine having one of these brand-new in 1995, loading it up with 7 adults, and driving up a mountain. And this was the "punchy" minivan for the era, the pre-1996 Mopars were even slower.

Everything inside is blue, everything does work and when I drove it, the wheels stayed pointed the same direction. The premium audio is pretty bad but Taylor's speakers will probably improve it. It's got 111k miles and is pretty clean for what it is.

Alright, more progress!

Underglow installed by Joey and Paul in the rear and under the sliding door whenever the interior lights are on. They are VERY bright.

I rerouted the washer sprayers to spray the front tires when we push a button on the dash. Works very well.

I also made a bracket for the Marine speakers I have using the old moped seat and wired them up so we can play music out the side of the van.

Also installed my fire extinguisher and bracket.

We tested out the tire sprayers and got a very good peel out without a neutral drop so I'm very confident.

This is starting to sound necessary!

...and the mini van was towed from a visitors spot for a "One night visitor spot violation"
