Yes......

Or this ^^

This is the best fix.

This isn't Craigslist - I feel like if you sell shit here you need to tell the good and the bad like you are selling to a best friend (because a lot of people here are.)

Agreed....

Seriously though, these are great cars as long as they are cared for correctly, you can actually get 100k + out of the motor. However, with no mention of service records, it's best to have the compression test completed (I"m looking at you seller) know everything about your car before listing it for sale, especially a car with known motor issues and now is throwing CEL's. Or list it for sale dirt cheap if you don't want to put the leg work in.

Why wasn't the airbag harness replaced with the airbag?

There has been no warranty recall on the engine of this, just the murderous airbags. I hadn't responded because I didn't have any notifications of the conversation. This has been a great car. Oil consumption hasn't changed since I bought it at 20K. I don't mind the questions.

Different airbag.

I have been saying for a long time that an RX-8 with the MazdaSpeed3 motor stuck in it would be a damn near perfect car.

I believe the 6 speed has a similar BHP as the older Speed3.

But turbo-torque and awesome gas mileage.
