Super rad.

I bet you get Playboy for the articles. Tell the dude to fix his photos!

Re: The Worlds Slowest 24v E30 - Chinampa - 10-13-2016

Jordan is kind of an ass he'd probably ban you for suggesting he fix the pictures

Preeeetttyyyyy. Much like. Very covet. Will own. One way or another. Also looking forward to seeing it at the car show. Interior pics?

Is he really an ass? That's disappointing. I followed that thread on Bimmerforums and he seemed nice enough there. Dude did some really quality work.

Seems like the high-quality builders have this elitist attitude or something about them. The guy (RVAE34) who built the brown E39 LSx touring also has been through some E38s and an E34. Nice enough online but Felton and other Richmonders all claim he's the world's biggest Cars & Coffee douchebag in person. So sad.

Right now the carpet is out of the car because of a water leak. So it's more rckr than usual.

Looking into swapping the non vanos intake cam to exhaust side and putting in an s50 cam for intake side. Anyone heard any actual real world success? I don't trust r3v a whole lot...

For what 10horsepower? I'd leave it.

I have an s50 in the garage if you want it, although Matthew might kill me if I don't get the swap finished for him.

Re: The Worlds Slowest 24v E30 - ScottyB - 10-17-2016

love this car. something about the shape looks killer in red, too. K1's can make anything look Tits McGee but E30's are the best with that style.

much respect to your ability to turn your particular brand of jackassery into a damn spray booth and a working engine swap. if i tried that i think i'd shoot my eye out.

Tiny update:

Installed my skidplate which I needed very much apparently judging by the fresh scrapes on the oil pan.

Also finally took it back to the glass shop to get the windshield resealed, so far the floor has stayed dry. I get to have a carpet again

Back with actual work on the car!

Big ol' stack of parts. Rotors, pads, braided stainless lines, fuel line, strut top mounts, thermostat housing and a thermostat.

Got the first one done.
Was super quick but I started to question some things while I was in there...

Liiiiike..why my tires rub the frame rail at full lock
[Image: 32579686832_27c4e5e930_c.jpg]

Or like how my coolant was making this neat puddle..

Anyways, got the other three done without any hassle except almost twisting this brake line into pieces on the last wheel
[Image: 32692517636_53283881c4_c.jpg]

I only got around to installing the brakes and the fuel lines this weekend so the top hats and thermostat will have to wait. Here's how I left the car
[Image: 31918912103_348e242221_c.jpg]

Also some random pics of how the car sits right now

Ghetto fabulous interior because of a mysterious water leak
[Image: 32609501091_b456f94cbf_c.jpg]

And the cause for all my troubles
[Image: 32733117155_af37856fa4_c.jpg]

I've got garagistic 80A poly bushings for the subframe, trailing arms, differential, and front control arms in the mail as well. Lots of work ahead
