Lets talk. Mine runs and is rust free. I also know where there is an endless supply of fenders/bumpers/soft tops for cheap...... Let me know what you are thinking.

Re: 1992 Miata - Scott - 07-06-2016

For any of you NOVA guys, I can bring it to Summit Point this weekend

I'm kidding of course. The Magnificent Merlot Monster will be great again.

I have a frame and top from the white car, want it?

Hook me up with this supply? I need a front bumper and right front fender, preferably white

Re: 1992 Miata - Senor_Taylor - 07-06-2016

The top from the white one is pretty new by the way.

Bad decisions everywhere....

Re: 1992 Miata - Scott - 07-07-2016

I left out some of the specifics about the car. This is an "A" package car. Manual mirrors, roll up windows, and MANUAL steering. It does have functioning AC. Everything functions as it should (pop up lights, signals, etc...)

Does this mean it has a 4th pedal?

If you've never driven a Miata with a real manual rack, it's amazing, transforms the car even more. It's so much better than power steering or a depowered rack.

Re: 1992 Miata - SlimKlim - 07-07-2016

^Truth. They are way too small to *need* power steering, the steering feel on the ones without it is amazing.

Well damn now I almost want it.Then my garage could be completely full of useless cars while the ones I use sleep outside!

Re: 1992 Miata - Senor_Taylor - 07-07-2016

Chan, let me know when you want to tear the miata apart and play Legos with it. I'm down.

I don't understand, that isn't normal :dunno:

Re: 1992 Miata - lxpeery - 07-07-2016

How bad is the damage on the windshield frame? Any time this week you could show it?

He added a bunch of photos on the previous page. It doesn't look like something that could come out with PDR work to me, if you wanted it repaired it'd probably be a bondo & spot blend situation.

It's not terrible, but probably not a PDR. If I was fixing the car to play with, I would just leave it as it. The frame isn't bent, the hard top fit just fine (wasn't on during the accident and has been sold already)
