Riding new mountains was definitely awesome. 614 has some awesome houses on it. To my surprise, my Miata never hiccuped. It was a treat to drive that thing for 3 hours on the most beautiful day ever. I had a blast. I think the best part was where Paul took a wrong turn and we ended up having to back all 13 or so cars down a gravel road for like 200 yards. I guess that happens though when people don't know the route. The drive overall was great. I enjoyed it if we didn't have a long break of an hour and a half. I do like 33 more. The good thing about 33 no one cares and doesn't complain. Not sure exactly where we went but it was not too far out of town - still a different route than 33 and very scenic. Not as technically twisty but made for a really, really nice chill drive on a fall day. I think we branched off of 33 before getting to the mountain and did a big loop. I just remember how really really, ridiculously loud that terminator was even at like 45mph and moderate throttle. Re: FrOG Week 2015 Mega Cruise! - Jake - 08-28-2015 SlimKlim Wrote:Jake Wrote:We did a route when I was a... junior(?) that Thayer led us on. We need to do a cruise to reddish knob! Re: FrOG Week 2015 Mega Cruise! - *insertusernamehere* - 08-28-2015 The route for this cruise was great. I had been this way before but not in my own car. We definitely have to do this one again next semester when it gets warm after the long winter. |
