That monstaliner looks pretty bad ass. How much does it take to do a truck?

Why did they give Yosemite Sam a pair of flintlock pistols? Dammit China, try harder.

i'm still working out the logistics... I think overshooting will take 6 gallons. its two gallons to do the long bed with some left over. Its not cheap at retail but between pirate 4x4 and jeep forum i can find coupon codes that can be up to 40% off. I'm going to email them since they have done a F150 to see if they can tell me.

After making a run in the truck last night to pick up some stuff... the flap windows open, the windows down, rear window open... I ordered a Pioneer DEH-X4600BT head unit and Kicker 6.5 and 6x8s. you cant hear the radio when you are above 35mph lol. the Pioneer is just a basic set up with some hands free shit. a cheap old truck doesnt need a $1k radio.

Depending on the sound I might hunt the open box sections of best buy for a little amp to run the speakers... there is a metric ton of random space in the F150... hell i could probably mount an amp under the dash there is so much room.

If I remember correctly you've got a shit ton of space behind the seat too.. Perfect place for an amp..or a truck gun

I have a couple... Name a reasonable price for an MTX or alpine amp.

i dont get along with computers. i'm currently in one of RJs remote classes and the technical difficulties abound. i still have 3.5 more days of this crap.

we are going to clean up the headlights this weekend with a resto kit. i'm hoping that helps the lights because they SUCK. If they dont i'll just put up another "task." I've already got the idea in my head i'll just see if i can actually pull it off. i just dont want to add "driving lights" to the budget.... not that i really have a budget.

In other news it gets better gas mileage than sylvias armored to shit and back TJ lol. It also lacks cup holders, i'm guessing thats why the rednecks have those HUGE big gulp cups all the time. I think i'll find another option at some point.

404 = Page Not Found. It was a bad joke but it seemed funny this morning.

Re: Project: Beat Old F150 aka "BIG SIX" - Kaan - 04-02-2014

oh and screw LMC Truck... I've shipped fenders before and it doesnt take freight shipping ($125) for a $100 fender. junk yard time!

Re: Project: Beat Old F150 aka "BIG SIX" - JustinG - 04-02-2014

Looks like the fender is $70-75 at rock auto, but $75 for shipping.

Re: Project: Beat Old F150 aka "BIG SIX" - V1GiLaNtE - 04-03-2014

Buy a donor truck.. You know Sylvia has always wanted lawn ornaments...

Re: Project: Beat Old F150 aka "BIG SIX" - Kaan - 04-03-2014

JC W. was cheaper ( i got 10% off) and free shipping... the fender got here in one day!
