Re: Patrick Johnson - BFisch06 - 09-12-2013 LNF is indeed direct injection. I've read the stock GM MAF sensors don't read past 27.5 psi or something like that, so most LNF modders switch to a high-range Bosch sensor. The GM performance kit I put on the HHR SS had the new sensors, though I can't figure out why - it only raised the boost to 25 or so. I guess the thinking was that the measurements could be off if they're taken at the end of the sensor's range. That GTI sounds like it's a force to be reckoned with. Re: Patrick Johnson - Gordonovski - 09-12-2013 Nice to have another VW sadomasochist in the club. My mk4 will have to take a lesson or two from that GLI Re: Patrick Johnson - Ghost - 09-12-2013 Gordonovski Wrote:Nice to have another VW sadomasochist in the club. My mk4 will have to take a lesson or two from that GLI Haha my original intention was to just purely DD the vw. Lol I knew nothing about vw a year ago haha. But I've learned a little bit over the last few months. Wish I could learn and retain school info as well as car info hahaha  Re: Patrick Johnson - Stormtrooper135i - 10-16-2013 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Welcome, are you planning on replacing the 240sx with something?hint hint 1jz Re: Patrick Johnson - Ghost - 10-17-2013 Stormtrooper135i Wrote:D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Welcome, are you planning on replacing the 240sx with something?hint hint 1jz Well I sold the 240 afew weeks ago but if I did keep it I was looking at 1jz or slowly start to get stuff for a lsx swap. Anyways more news on the VW ordered a set of H&R springs for the car and have put about 800mi on them now, also will have a new set of wheels for the vw as well Here are some pics Also took all the plasti dip off the car, it was ready for a change, tho I wish I would have waited till after winter but oh well that's what the jeep is for Before and after ***also*** In regards to meetings on Wednesdays, I work fulltime from 4p-12a Mon-Fri, and the last 3 weeks I've been working weekends also, that along with being a fulltime student and having a class on Wed from 6p-9p is the reason I didn't get a chance to meet some of the alumni yesterday. I did meet afew of you 2 years ago at VIR for octoberfest though. Hopefully will get a chance to go to summit begging of nov and meet everyone again! Re: Patrick Johnson - Jake - 10-18-2013 It's funny, I really don't like the new/current Jettas much, but the GLI is so right. Yours looks great with the gentle drop. The lowering springs helped it a lot Re: Patrick Johnson - V1GiLaNtE - 11-01-2013 Keep the yellow fogs.. I'm a sucker for yellow fog lights on lighter cars. |
