One phone screening on Friday morning and one tentative interview next week for Jr. Project Management contract positions at 2 different companies.

Thanks guys, phone interview on Friday went ok, she didn't seem overly impressed and said she was screening other candidates and wanted to bring in the best for in-persons this week. Fingers crossed.
Still haven't heard anything from the other company. Going into the 3rd week here and the novelty of it being a sort of vacation has worn off, I'm ready to go back to work goddammit.

As I post that, my phone rings from the recruiter. She says I'm the only one out of 3 phone screens they want to move forward with, got a 2nd interview scheduled on Thursday morning!

Ok now it's Friday afternoon but still good news! Thanks for the well wishes.
I also have a deposit in the mail for a freelance project, need to wrap that up over the next few days. Hopefully I get the AARP job and then the remainder of my severance and this project will create a nice little cushion to help get the E36 back to her former glory.

Nope, but thanks for the reference! This one is a Chinese restaurant down in Fredericksburg, Its mostly done, just need to build out the rest of the menu. check it out: http://stage.jklimchuk.net/

Dude you can't even imagine how much of food craving this project has given me. I had to stop in the middle of it on Sunday and go get a sushi platter from whole foods.

Damnit, stop talking about Sushi. I haven't had it in over 10 months. It was the one thing I said I wanted as soon as I had the baby, and you know, we still haven't gone to get Sushi. Matt, maybe we can hit up the Sushi joint here in town soon, not as good as NOVA sushi, but it'll do.

I'm definitely down to grab some sushi. I only recently started eating it so I'm not a sushi snob yet, I just like to try different rolls. Still in the process of figuring out my favorite type. I've only had it from that one place Oriental cafe in the burg.
