Offset wont work....and 18x9 is really pushing it for the forester. Thanks for the offer though.

Plasti dipped the grill last night. Thoughts?

I thought I totally F'd it up. This stuff goes on super splotchy, but evens out as it dries. I have never worked with the stuff before, and i may have messed up a bit. So we will see how it holds up, I may peel it off and re spray it.

Also sprayed the badges. The liftgate has a forester and 2.5XT badge. The car was debadged by the PO, but there are 2 holes from the Forester badge, Holes + water = bad things. So I am putting it back on along with the 2.5XT badge, I think only having the forester badge is strange, and the 2.5XT badge is pretty cool.

Thats the "F" badge, its JDM or something, like the "I" badges on Imprezas. To my knowledge its only a vinyl sticker placed over the OG badge. Im kinda fond of the regular Subie badge though.

Some guy is making XTi badges those.....Kinda want one.

Grill has a chrome trim ring and the inner is graphite colored. Its the only chrome on the car aside from badges.

Lamin-x for the fogs came today, pretty easy install, I think i got all the bubbles out. I didn't realize how thick that stuff is.

Grabbed the STi catback for $50, just need to snag the longer rubber hangers from Advance ($5 each, need 2) and find some time to throw it on. Forester exhaust has a larger resonator on the midpipe and more baffling in the muffler.

Nice pick up man! Glad you found a good one. We Plasti-dipped my brothers wheels on his FRS and it's held up great so far. As for the wheels on your ride, if you get anything but gold RJ and I will rattlecan them gold at the carshow, so just save yourself some trouble and buy gold to start with.

I like the Plastidip job. It's not hard but not as easy as it looks. I might have even just dipped over the Subaru badge or removed it altogether. Also feeling the Lamin-X.
