Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - D_Eclipse9916 - 01-22-2013 navin Wrote:Kaan -- why not rent an airless paint sprayer for the day if you have to do more painting? Think I'll be doing that for the ceiling of my garage since painting ceilings is a pain, that or hiring some peeps from the 7-11 I have one of those extending things for a roller brush and painted the ceiling in my office (since I had to rip up half the damn ceiling for new construction housing lights  ). It isnt bad at all to paint the ceiling that way. ~$20 at homedepot and you are assured to use it again at some point. Or you can just borrow mine if you are so inclined. And I already said it but congrats again!! On a side note: One thing I regret is since I moved in a year ago I didnt get nearly as much housework done as I thought I should have in that time. I should have put the house as a priority instead of my racing. I am doubling down this year to get stuff done. Knowing you, your house will be more liveable than mine in the first 2 weeks  Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - .RJ - 01-22-2013 Wow, awesome, I didnt know you guys were looking and I saw the FB postings while I was on vacation. Looks nice! I head out that way a few times a year to ride pedal bikes so get your guest bed ready. Still going to commute into arlington, or work remote, or up on mt weather? Congrats! Yeah, but you arent going anywhere. Its one of the things I both love and hate about owning, is that if you dont get something done/finished/perfect then it just doesnt matter, no one else has to look at it. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Kaan - 01-22-2013 I have one too. I need to get a ladder so i can get up there and redo the mudd on the joints. there is alittle dry wall work to be done in the house, but its not too big of a deal and we can move in and be fine. I really just want to knock the garage out before we start staging all our stuff in there while moving in. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Steve85 - 01-22-2013 Congrats, and welcome to the valley. Beautiful home! Let me know if you need anything. We did a lot of reno stuff so if you need (or need an extra) little compressor, nail gun, chop saw, etc. you're more than welcome to it. No tall A-frame though. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - CaptainHenreh - 01-22-2013 Kaaniepoo let me know when you want my pressurewasher. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - Kaan - 01-22-2013 as soon as it gets "warm" and i can turn on the outside water. the deck is "nasty" so i need to wash it/seal it and then spot treat the garage floor. i need to rake out the area i want to run these: http://www.teamassociated.com/cars_and_trucks/SC10/RTR/ I'm going to get a pair for Sylvias brother and i to bash around. I love being a big kid. Re: Project: Summit Point Bed and Breffiss! - HAULN-SS - 01-22-2013 I have a ladder you can borrow if you promise to wipe off any paint that spills on it. I think it's 6 or 8 ft, can't remember. I can check tomorrow. Until you do it, you can't even imagine how much dirt carpet holds. The blackness of the water in the holding tank is disgusting. |
