Re: The official tablet (and other useless electronics) thre - Steve85 - 02-14-2012 We don't normally do anything for v-day but the wifey surprised me with a Kindle Fire last night. I downloaded a few apps, set up my email and it was great to poke around on and play a game here and there. I didn't think I would get much out of something like this but it's nice. Screen size is probably the minimum for something like this. I think the smaller overall size though will have me taking it more places. Re: The official tablet (and other useless electronics) thre - G.Irish - 02-25-2012 Finally got ICS on my Transformer. Feels snappier and looks prettier overall, although I don't like the little notifications tab now, it looks a bit too busy. Gonna have to play with it more this weekend. Re: The official tablet (and other useless electronics) thre - Apoc - 02-25-2012 Hacked or the official update? I thought that was gonna be next month. http://m.lifehacker.com/5887769/grab-50gb-of-free-storage-for-life-on-box-by-using-the-android-app Re: The official tablet (and other useless electronics) thre - Apoc - 02-25-2012 Just got ICS OTA. Everything is AMAZING! ICS SAVES!!! Seriously though, the look and smoothness is a HUGE improvement over Honeycomb. Re: The official tablet (and other useless electronics) thre - Apoc - 02-25-2012 P.S. - The Chrome browser (add-on) is pretty nice. Re: The official tablet (and other useless electronics) thre - Evan - 03-02-2012 For Lee: this is a super fun 808/303/909 emulator on sale for $1 https://market.android.com/details?id=de.despudelskern.application.audiotoolsketch&hl=en Re: The official tablet (and other useless electronics) thre - WRXtranceformed - 03-02-2012 Nice! I like!! I just downloaded Blood and Glory from Glu Mobile. It's kind of fun, same company that made gun bros. It's like gladiators battling and there's actually some action to it. Re: The official tablet (and other useless electronics) thre - WRXtranceformed - 03-08-2012 Lenovo is one of our big clients here in Charlotte. We got an email from one of their directors with their employee discount code and a weekly deal for an IdeaPad A1 tablet (7") for $169.00. I don't really need another tablet, but I am thinking about picking it up because it is so cheap. Thoughts? There are a lot of rumors of a couple different sizes coming out this year and I'm hoping a 10" is one of them. |
