As a side note, I bought a clone of the Navitimer style from a really good dive watch brand who just branched out and started making good quality pilot watches. They had a mega sale so I bought one for myself and a black version for my friend / realtor for killing it on our buy / sell process. Swiss quartz, sapphire crystal, $100. Can't beat that!

At first I didn't see your pic so I was bit confused by your sentence about matching socks, "how can he see my socks???"

I like my SkyHawk so much I may have to buy the black eagle variant. Not sure when I'll get my first balla class watch. I'd like a Bell & Ross Radar or maybe something from the Breitling Aerospace lineup.

Yeah man it is crazy light and comfortable! Citizen actually makes a blue OEM rubber strap for these that I've thought about swapping out. I am also really high on the black "Navihawk" version with the rubber strap:

Another timeless Citizen I saw twice in the wild (once on another pilot) on this trip was the Nighthawk. For some reason this watch screams "Rexy Approved" to me (I can't really say why). It has a great wrist presence and the dark aluminum looks really sharp:

So much this. I tend to wear, "loud" socks but they do coordinate with what I am wearing. It's the one part of my outfit I can be bold with.

I was going to upload a picture of my naked ass arms and legs with my 20 yr old cheapo watch but the internet is broken today. Consider yourself lucky.

Short sleeve business shirts look pretty ridiculous. I'd much rather have a long sleeve shirt on no matter the temperature.
