this was the first Seattle game i have seen this season, that defense was something else.

i'm proud of my Skins coming back and getting into the playoffs, but i honestly didn't expect them to get too far. next, Jags and Steelers, should be a good one.

I watched this at a Redskins bar I found in Ocean Beach... there was zero Redskins offense until a short sprint in the 3rd quarter. Then they fell apart again. Oh well.

I just bought tickets to the Chargers game tomorrow. 35yd. line 13th row. Smile

That's right you motherfuckers. Empty in here now huh?
Bitches thought because you beat half of Dallas you had a play off team? Don't ever fuck up like that again.*

*Ignore this completely if my Dallas should lose their first game.

I don't think there are any haters here - Redskins simply didn't show up to play. I have to give the Seahawlks credit though, they have a much better defense than I thought; perhaps we never saw them play since every other team in the West division is under .500.

I think it really comes down to protection. They were getting it in the previous four games, they weren't for most of today's. Look at the difference in result.

Concur.

That and the rush offense, Seattle totally shut down the run and forced Collins to win the game rather than just "manage" it as he has been doing. Nothing against Collins, he did a phenomenal job this season, but I think today we saw why Collins has spent the last 10 years on the sidelines.

:?:

I saw starters through that first half. What was the score? 13-3. I'm sure they weren't really trying... right?

Redskins played an inspired game against Dallas. They looked very good, and after that run of 4 consecutive wins, they deserved to go to the playoffs. Against Seattle they looked a lot different, and lacked in areas they didn't during the run of 4 wins.

There were 4 pro bowlers that didn't start the game due to injury. 4 starters don't make a team but it wasn't the same squad they'd faced earlier in the year. I hope that and the meaninglessness of the game were the reasons they played shitty... but remain cautiously optimistic.

I thought the Jacksonville / Pittsburgh game was really exciting too.

And I was very pleased with the outcome, considering how much I DESPISE the Steelers. (And their asshole cuntbag fans)

- navin - 01-06-2008

Ugh, what a letdown. I just got home from a binge at a Redskins bar, then ended up at Redskins park to welcome the players home.

Anyone want an autographed Joe Gibbs bible? Tongue

yes.

You're not serious are you?

- Evan - 01-06-2008

100% serious.

My Dad likes 2 people. JC and JG.

Werd - I'm pretty sure we got a couple, and I think I left it in my girlfriends car. I'll try to remember to grab it and shoot you a PM - I live down the street from MM oakton house basically if you're still there.

I agree. I actually think that Jacksonville has a good chance against the Pats - the team I hate the most.

I was at the Chargers game today, wow, how embarassing. They remind me much of the Redskins. Hot one day, awful the next. Good players, failure on execution.

Not exactly... they won this time.

- John - 01-06-2008

Hardly - their offense looked terrible. I was with a coworker who is from Indy, so the heckling at the end made it all that much more entertaining...
