Chris, don't go the way mapquest says.
I live in lynchburg which 29 goes right through.
I go 81 south to Lexington and then take 501 to Lynchburg. From there you get on the expressway and then get on 29 south. Plus you get to drive some really nice twisty moutain roads on 501.

i think Nick has a good point. mapquest usually figures out the shortest route.......which isn't necessarily the fastest.
plus i like the sound of some twisty roads 8)

In case you can't tell i despise 29 :x
I will post up directions before the meeting if anyone wants to try the 501 way.
