DUDE, Makarov level (3rd) is seriously fucked up and intense. I can kind of see why they ask you to check yes or no.

Just beat campaign, wow what an awesome story line. Way better than the last one.
The only level that was retarded as shit was the one where you have to download data from Makarov's computer. I was seriously yelling at the screen I was getting so pissed.. don't know how I finally beat it.
Now that's over with, time to play multiplayer!

MW2 definitely lives up to the hype. Lots of fun to be had in single player mode.
I must say though that multiplayer's matchmaking (or lack thereof) sucks. I only play MW1 a couple of times at work during lunch so I'm pretty much a noob. When you play multiplayer you get matched up with whoever, right up to generals. On top of that in Team Deathmatch when you lose a match for the next match it puts you on the team with the lowest scores...so you can get massacred again.
Seems like laziness to me. How difficult would it be to match players up with other players of a similar level? Especially considering that the more leveled up people have significantly better guns than you do. An argument can be made for 'school of hard knocks' yadda-yadda but at the end of the day it's frustrating.

My biggest complaint about multiplayer so far is the maps. AND it's not because I don't like the maps because I think they are AWESOME. I mean really fun... the problem is that a lot of them are set up so that it becomes a camper's paradise. It's a little frustrating and much more noticeable than the last game.

If you're not playing with friends, play mercenary team deathmatch. If you are playing with friends, you're out of luck; it does it's best to even up the teams, but if the entire other team was a party, they're going to stick together. When playing with friends who aren't all that good, I usually stick to Ground War, which is a 16 player game. Having a bad player or two or three has much less effect than in TD.

My complaint about the maps if that most of them are blatant rips from other games. Old Call of Duties, Counter-Strike, and Day of Defeat.

yea ive noticed this too, think itll become a little more fun once ive learned the maps, and know the camping spots, what sucks is im still working on some of the attachments for the guns, finally got the red dots for the FAMAS and M4A1. I can only assume they have some small maps as well, but since ive only been on the big games the maps are freaking Huge, need a scope on a gun just to see people.

learning the maps is HUGE. i'm nearly L30 and i still don't have a great grasp on all of them, but i suppose there's only so much i can store away in a single night. i really want to level the famas... picked up some guy's with a thermal scope on it... was ridiculous.
