RE: Automotive News Discussion - D_Eclipse9916 - 12-21-2018 They have done the ND so damn right... Automotive News Discussion - Sijray21 - 12-28-2018 So a 'turbo' trim will be coming for the Taycan EV... That just seems stupid to me... Then again, I'm not their target market. https://www.carthrottle.com/post/porsche-will-bizarrely-brand-the-flagship-taycan-ev-as-the-turbo/ RE: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 12-28-2018 (12-28-2018, 03:12 PM)Sijray21 Wrote: So a 'turbo' trim will be coming for the Taycan EV... This makes zero sense to anyone. I guess we are just going to call fancy things 'turbo' from now on. RE: Automotive News Discussion - Jake - 12-28-2018 It's the easy way to market an EV to the uneducated masses, or something. Do Trump supporters buy Porsches though? I haven't been looking for it but I don't think I've ever seen incentives like that on an F150. It's probably the only way to make a new truck affordable for 8 out of 10 people that go in to buy one RE: Automotive News Discussion - Jake - 12-31-2018 (12-30-2018, 11:01 AM)WRXtranceformed Wrote:(12-30-2018, 09:26 AM)D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:(12-29-2018, 08:38 PM)WRXtranceformed Wrote: Speaking of financing, I just saw a Ford ad on TV offering 0% financing for 72 months on F150s until Jan 3rd. Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 12-31-2018 ^i keep seeing Chevy commercials with $13k off MSRP of Silverados. RE: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 01-02-2019 Imagine how boring of a life you have to be to intentionally block an electric car charging station with your diesel truck because you think it's some kind of burn on electric cars. People never amaze me. People never amaze me. I'd just start carrying a tow rope with me. A Model 3 could absolutely maybe probably yank a truck out of a parking spot if you did it slowly. RE: Automotive News Discussion - Steve85 - 01-02-2019 Tesla owners: "I'm carrying a tow rope from now on, it might be the difference between getting home and not" ICEers: "I'm parking in front of as many as I can and I dare one of them EV yippies to pull my shit" I'm going to be shocked if we make it 6 months before a brandishing incident between an ICE'r and a Tesla owner with a toe rope. Should be unlawful to park a non EV in them "Unlawful" ? You've lost your damn mind. Most parking lots are private property, and the property owner has the right to set the usage for their property as they wish. And I have the right to not patronize an establishment that gives people who make $500k a special parking spot for their $130k cars that cant travel very far. (And for the record, deliberately blocking charging spots is extremely lame and petty.) (01-02-2019, 01:58 PM)Steve85 Wrote: Tesla owners: "I'm carrying a tow rope from now on, it might be the difference between getting home and not" Wouldnt it be easier to just carry a longer charging cable? Then again it wouldnt get as much youtube or social media attention, which apparently is what Tesla owners are more interested in RE: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 01-02-2019 (01-02-2019, 01:58 PM)Evan Wrote: "Unlawful" ? You've lost your damn mind. What does any of your comment have to do with people parking their non EVs in EV charging station spots? Edit: And please you know damn well you don't carry a charging cable with you for your EV and can't just "carry a longer one". RE: Automotive News Discussion - Apoc - 01-02-2019 It's pretty obvious he was replying to Taylor's comment about making it illegal. |
