See now, that is something McCain can attack Obama on and actually gain some votes. He's wasting his time on the Bill Ayers schoolyard attacks.
Personally you're going to get fucked one way or another by either the Democratic "Tax the Rich FTW!" or Republican "Make the Rich Richer and Maybe It'll be Good" philosophy. Just depends on what orifice you prefer to have forcibly penetrated.
I find the whole taxes vs. jobs circle jerk kind of funny. The logic to cutting taxes to create jobs is that if Company X has more money they can invest more money and create jobs. To some extent that is true. Problem with that is that if Joe Blow from the middle class is not getting the tax break, he can't afford to spend as much money buying Company X's widgets. Not to mention the fact that the large deficit has decimated the dollar and further diminished Joe Blow's purchasing power. Now if Company X is not getting the sales from Joe Blow, they can't employ as many people. Not to say approaching the issue from one direction or the other is necessarily wrong but both have their downsides.
Stupid gaffe by Obama though. Biden could be excused for saying something like that but Obama has no excuse.
