If everyone else is bringing their dog, then no, we won't be bringing Diesel. He's super protective of Hannah, and isn't a playful puppy any more. We've always brought Diesel because Kaan and Sylvia's is his second home, but with other dogs there he won't be comfortable.

I'm trying to get an answer out of Lauren one way or the other, personally I'd really prefer not to bring the dog so we can just relax.

You know what, if Kristen can't watch her I'll just board her for the afternoon, we'll have to leave by 5:45 or so to make sure we can pick her up before they close and we get stuck with an overnight boarding fee, but that's better than trying to keep her off of people's laps and out of their food for the entire party, so bring Diesel if you want. Molly can come next year when she doesn't have 6 month old puppy-hormones coursing through her veins and turning her into a monster.

Well diesel has priority. I won't bring Max if you want to bring diesel. He's pretty chill either way so I'm sure he'll be fine at home.

Boys that wasn't me trying to pull rank. I will probably leave him home just the same, because honesty, he'll try to be in people's laps and in their food, and really....Hannah will be doing the same, and I can only wrangle one at a time. When its only a few people its not soo bad, but I would like to enjoy myself a little and I cannot do that wrangling a furbaby and a skinpuppy.

No trust me, I'm much happier not bringing the dog, it would be impossible to have fun with her terrorizing everyone, trying to steal all the food and finding things in Kaan's house that aren't dog toys to turn into dog toys. Next year she can be the debutante, after she's gotten her tubes snipped and her energy levels normalize.

I wasn't bitter about it Julie lol. I wasn't implying you were saying our dogs wernt allowed. I don't really want to bring Max anyway. But i would say if diesel goes there all the time, he should have priority. If he's comfortable there, he's far less likely to mess stuff up as a dog in a new place.

You can put me down as a "maybe" for bringing a main dish - if the meat dept. has it and i have the time to make it Sat. before leaving, I might whip up some merguez sausage sandwiches - pan fried over coals. If not I'll bring a side/dessert. I'll try for the former though as they're damn good.

LOL... we have 4 bottles of wine on the wall. coordinate your headaches, I mean wine drinking with DJ... he said they will bring some. I suggest a box or two with as much wine as was put down last year
