Now that you mention it, one thing that is extremely shady about video game trailers that are rendered "using the game-engine" is that the engine can crunch as long as they want to make an awesome looking trailer but in real time the game-engine may not be able to manage anywhere near the resolution, particle effects, collision physics, etc.
Coming from DICE that's another reason for caution, although we're still a good 5 months out.

Sorry, I didn't see that statement on the video. I don't honestly believe this is anything close to the actual in-game graphics. Sure, the cut scenes will look nice, but this isn't anything indicative of the real time graphics.

According to the reddit people, BF3 and BF4 release trailers were very close in quality to what you could expect in-game with a decent setup. Obviously consoles won't be nearly as good, but this initial trailer might not be far off the final product.

I was just saying what to expect. I've got nothing against consoles. I have basically all of them made in my lifetime except the PS4/XBONE.
