Ryan knows all about going "slightly" off line in 3.

I've got both.

MichaelJComputer Wrote:Best "feeling" you can get is in the wet. Seriously, you learn a lot more in the wet than in the dry as long as you already know the track fairly well, which I think you do.

I've only driven it during a touring lap, and I've ridden with Evan. You're right, I would say its the track I know the best.

T2 becomes a legitimate one in the wet, especially w/ RWD and that stream there...

I consider that one.

Worker positions - NASAlaura - 09-14-2004

Sorry for the delay in getting the worker positions out....we had a Hyperfest at Infineon near San Fran this weekend. Whew. And we thought Hyperfests were hard to do when it was only 2 1/2 hours away from us....try thousands of miles!

Anyway, I have cut and pasted below from my e-mail to Chris P. I will let you guys figure out who is doing what. We can use some help Friday night, and those two workers will have a later wake-up time on Saturday morning! See below. If no one can help Friday evening, I will need to know that. Either Chris can e-mail me the final list of who is doing what or you can e-mail me at laura@nasaracing.net and let me know who wants to do what. Thanks for coming out to help!

w00t for rain.
I'm gonna bone up on my "slide or die" skillz this weekend! NASA drift contest, you best prepare yoself .
Mike is right, you'll really learn a lot in the rain, although it will be a lot more scary I imagine. No doubt, I will be sliding a lot this weekend in comparison to my previous track weekend :-D

I'm assuming this is probably Jess and I. We should definitely make it up there by 6:30, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Re: Worker positions - NASAlaura - 09-15-2004

The four of you need to decide who is Worker 1, 2, 3, 4. The first two positions are the same and the last two positions are the same. That is why they are grouped that way. We can switch things up a bit if needed.

Laura C.

- Chris - 09-15-2004

Jess and Jon,

Lets have you be workers 1 and 2, since you know you can be there friday evening.

Matt L.- if thats a prob for them not being on grid til Sunday, let me know.

Christina and Navin,

you can be workers 3 and 4. If this doesn't work for you, we'll figure out something else.

- Dragon - 09-15-2004

Interesting way of breaking up the worker assignments (I like it). I'm assuming for those of the workers who would prefer to stay in T&S all weekend (christina) they can switch responsibilities with one of the other workers.

- Chris - 09-15-2004

yeah I suppose they won't mind switching workers. I think Laura broke it up like that so each worker learns both positions and gives them an easier positon one of the days.

- Dragon - 09-15-2004

Just to let y'all know I stopped by .RJ's place last night and picked up the canopy. Oh and I also picked up a few other things as well so if anyone's looking for a decent set of tools, some rims+tires (slightly used), or some seats let me know.

Yes that is true. If you want to switch things up a bit that is fine but be sure and let me know who will be where and when. Also pay attention to the duties late Saturday (party prep) and late Sunday (pack-up). Thanks!
