Got a yellow this AM while running patrols on Venus. Random low-level yellow baddie.
Hits like a rocket launcher, but with the speed of a machine gun. Bummer it's a heavy, but better than being off-class or a cloak.

Nice find! I have been fairly unlucky with legendary engram / blue engram drop turn-ins, but I did get a legendary rocket launcher that does absolutely massive damage...so I have been using that in my heavy weapon slot. The fruits of my grind labor are paying off though, just "bought" my second piece of legendary armor and hit level 25 yesterday, and I have enough strange coins and motes of light to be able to snag some stuff from Xur this weekend (hopefully this cycle for Titans doesn't have legs or chest). I read on Reddit that apparently when you hit Vanguard or Crucible level 3 you get to choose one of their legendary weapons for free. Either way I am hoping to be all legendary / exotic by next week! (I also read that you can only have one exotic piece in your armor and one in your weapon slots)

Just got enough marks to buy my first legendary vanguard piece. You've bought a second piece? Sheesh. I feel like I've been playing a lot and knocking out most bounties... About 24.5 right now. Did they just add a glow/blur to sprinting around the Tower or did I equip something that's doing that?

What you need is the Horseshoes and Hand Grenades perk.
I must admit though that I've killed myself more than I'd like to admit with rockets because I was trying to stay too tight to a corner and it detonated on the wall. I also actually had a mob shoot the rocket in midair as I launched it and kill me. It was that strong vandal in the cave on Forgotten Shore.

I'm almost halfway through 27 now, maxed out legendary and exotic armor, just working on maxing out the weapons as well. The slow part at this point is material farming; helium filiments, rustic ore etc. is annoying but not terrible...ascendant shards and ascendant energy are what are really slow to obtain. And you need those for every one of the last upgrades for each piece of armor.
I did get a "yellow" bounty randomly yesterday, which is a series of quests you have to go through to get an exotic weapon. Unfortunately I don't remember it telling you which exotic weapon it is for, so I arbitrarily picked one. Beat Phogoth to obtain the weapon? No problem. Oh it's a hand cannon? Meh. Kill 500 Fallen on the moon to "fill it up with Fallen energy"? Alright that's no big deal, I did that at the farming spot in like 20 minutes. Now to fill it up with more energy, kill 500 Guardians in the Crucible with a void weapon only? Nah I'm good on that, I don't use hand cannons nearly enough to justify that time sink. Pretty sure I am going to delete that bounty when I log on today :lol:

Port the PS4 remote play app to any Android 4.0 or newer device. I think it requires root though. Once the app is available that is.

Wow, three purple engrams in 20 minutes last night and another one today. Ended up with three legendary weapons out of the lot. I also received and accepted the exotic bounty chain for "Invective" which seemed like the only one I would actually use.

Pretty cool that it regenerates ammo over time..might be helpful for raids? If it sucks to do the quest it is what it is, it will give me something to do for the long term.
