Haha I think we may be on the complete opposite sides of the car spectrums. You get hot'n'bothered by jeeps but not a 516hp luxury sled.

LOLZ. And I wasn't trollin' about kei cars, I'd love a warehouse full of them. I think I'd make quite an odd car collection - there are only like 3 Ferraris and 2 Porsches etc. that I really want but like 2490508204 weird ass obscure cars I'd love to own :lol:

I mean don't get me wrong here guys I love the performance and the AMG line.....just not the looks of most Mercedes....the styling cues and interiors just never grabbed me......
I do get hot and bothered over a 500hp luxury sled....its called an M5.
Doubtful on being "opposite" of the spectrum given I dislike one brand of luxury car

I've flipped from not liking Mercedes very much at all to really growing fond of them. If I wasn't planning to keep the E36 (or was pulling down a baller salary) a W211 E55 or E63 would be a very serious consideration.
I was actually dreaming about picking up an E500 Sport (or making my own "sport" version) for a while because they are pretty cheap, but the cost of ownership would be too rich for my blood.
And the old ones are amazing. My personal favorite is the facelifted W124 500 E AMG

Funny enough, I would vastly prefer an AMG mercedes over an M-car. E36 M3 just happens to hit my buttons right on my el cheapo radar.

ZOMG! They make an LS-juan conversion kit for $1500 into a 97-02 Jaguar XK, that makes my blood pump. LS1 reliability and sound in one of these.....which you can find all day on cars.com/craigslist for less than $10k
I do still have night-terrors about one of these.... (I am a Jaguar/Mercedes fanboi way over BMW, just cannot afford one :lol: )
