Yeah I think as we get deeper into the game details and tactics are going to matter more. I don't know if you guys have read anything about raids but apparently they are going to be very, very hard and will require coordination and a balanced team to complete. Picking the right weapons for the job is probably going to be a big part. Only about a month out =D

The good news is that we won't have to do any matchmaking for raids, we've got a full fireteam baked into the email thread.
Can't wait. Bungie was saying they anticipated it would be quite some time before anyone even finished a raid, much less before they become commonplace.

SOE said the same thing about EQ and each raid would be destroyed usually a few hours after release.

I wish Destiny was out this week. I'm transitioning out of my old work team to potentially a new one with an exciting new role, but that leaves me with a bunch of days in which I am getting paid to basically do nothing. Guess I will go golf instead!
On a side note, my brother will be lagging a few weeks behind us. He has a massive tax bill he has to pay, but I think I sold him on picking up a PS4 after that instead of an XB1. I told him we will power level him and get him up to speed. He was a former Halo player with srs, srs skills, so he will be a healthy addition to our fire teams!
