I really like the look 2016+. Too bad you can't trust a Ford Diesel Drivetrain till 5 years after they are out to make sure they aren't horrible garbage. And my friend's that have them break down more often than any other new-ish truck I have seen.
RE: Automotive News Discussion - Jake - 01-17-2018 The failures among mutual friends that I've seen have issues have all had the older 6.0 or 6.4... Automotive News Discussion - *insertusernamehere* - 01-19-2018 I want a new ranger. Sent from my FRD-L04 using Tapatalk RE: Automotive News Discussion - CaptainHenreh - 02-02-2018 This was...weird. RE: Automotive News Discussion - ScottyB - 02-02-2018 lol so basically what they're saying is Steven Tyler is a leather skinned elderly man that thinks his Kia can time travel to ye olden days when he wasn't numb from the waist down. might have to check one out RE: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 02-07-2018 The Raptor Ranger is here. The one in the photos (unveiled in Thailand) sports a 2.0 TT 4 cylinder diesel with 210 hp and 369lb ft torque.

If you mean "America", don't hold your breath. RE: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 02-07-2018 Hence the (in Thailand) portion of my post. Don't think they would unveil the US version all the way across the world bruh. RE: Automotive News Discussion - WRXtranceformed - 02-07-2018 I was hopeful they would bring it here, now the prevailing tone seems to be that they will not. But even if they did I can't see myself being a buyer...guaranteed that would crest the $50k mark for a mid-size truck, which is bonkers RE: Automotive News Discussion - Steve85 - 02-08-2018 These posts reminded me.. A few random thoughts from the Washington Auto Show-
It was fun with the whole family but it's obviously not Detroit / LA. I had to curb expectations since the commercials talk about concepts and exotics, of which there are very few. The materials are nice, the equipment you get for the price is fantastic, and it's not overly done with buttons and switches like other new vehicles. Love the LC 500. I don't even care about the grille - give me that 5.0 V8 and watch me smile. Same thoughts about the Camry sorta. I think the new Accord is actually pretty good looking, but I am surprised by the styling of the Camry. It's not so horrible looking anymore. Automotive News Discussion - *insertusernamehere* - 02-12-2018 I wanna go drive a new civic hatch or coupe. Sent from my FRD-L04 using Tapatalk RE: Automotive News Discussion - ScottyB - 02-13-2018 *insertusernamehere* Wrote:I wanna go drive a new civic hatch or coupe. you should. everyone i know that has, has really enjoyed them. it seems to be a common theme that honda's 1.5 and 2.0 turbo engines are choked pretty bad from the factory. guys with just the Si are already pulling 12's in the quarter with just some breathing mods, intercooler, slicks, and a tune. crazy potential in any of those cars, and they've kept them light too. they probably won't make great used buys though, since the civics seem to hold value so well. RE: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 02-13-2018 Do it. The 1.5L is a great little engine for a daily. The turbo is nice and has enough power on demand without a ton of lag. The hatch has tons of cargo room in it too. I think it's better looking than the sedan and coupe. That's like saying you prefer drinking diesel over gasoline. Just two different forms of nasty. The new Accord is... okayish. The Civic in every variant is just bad. RE: Automotive News Discussion - WRXtranceformed - 03-01-2018 The new Sierra is dropping today with a visual facelift. Not sure if there are going to be any other innovations but I'm curious to see.
