Well, its time to close the final chapter on this project thread. The Miata sold today to a guy named Josh from Denver, CO. I posted it for sale on miata.net last weekend and he emailed almost immediately offering a deposit - he flew in today and started his westward journey this evening. I asked him if he would be ok in the Sparco seat for 25 hours - he mentioned that he drove a Lotus 7 from VA to CO for his dad, so I think that answered that question. I gave him some foam pads anyways :lol:

The car for him will be much as it was for me - a weekend toy to do fun stuff in - he promised to send me some pics of its first track day out west. Oh, and he did mention that he may drop it off at Flyin' Miata (which is SW of Denver in Grand Junction) for a turbo kit while he and his girlfriend enjoy a wine tasting retreat in Colorado's western slopes 8)

The car and I definitely came a long way during those years, with the help of several people here. It was like selling my kid, but I didn't feel bad because I know the owner will treat her right and as Scotty said, the car is going to a much better playground.

13,459. About half of that in the first year I owned it ('09-'10) in Hburg, the rest in the last ~3 years here in NoVa.
