you JUST got your license. anyway, i've ridden 200 uneventful miles alone now, not surwe what having some to hold hands with is gonna help with at this point. i'll have my MSF by the time next week.

I'm not going to tell anyone what to do, but if you have the attitude of "fuck it, whatever I'll ride anyways" then you run the risk of getting pulled over, or developing bad habits and having a tough time breaking them after you've had some training (MSF) and more experience with a group. I wish I'd taken the bike more seriously (reading twist of the wrist earlier, getting a track day in, etc) when I started riding rather than make excuses.

lecture all you want, but bottom line is i'd have 0 miles under my belt and would be considering selling the bike if i waited around for others to ride with me at this point. i think i did the right thing... there was only so much i could do in that parking lot after 3 nights nonstop.
