- PDenbigh - 01-27-2005

I would, but something tells me that a 4WD pickup with 32's isn't the best setup for track use ...one day I will own the ultimate track machine Idea use student loan to buy a Supra

I'm sorry I left the two most important words, TWIN TURBO....I would have to say that the supra is my ultimate track queen since i've wanted one forever...

- PDenbigh - 01-28-2005

Then I think you should go for it!

- PDenbigh - 01-28-2005

So back to VIR,

What happens if the weather is crappy to the point we can't drive? Such as snowing, freezing rain, and such? I'm not jynxing (sp?) us, just curious...

no no, the two most important words are 3500 POUNDS Wink

heavy snow will cancel the event (and issue refunds). anything less and you are driving!
basically VIR has to cancel for NASA to get their money back (and therefore, you) and since they really dont have any liability, it takes a whole lot for them to cancel it
The Feb event in 2003 was rediculously cold, rainy and icy. There was more bent metal in that one weekend than I have ever seen.

Thats 3475 thanks. Minus 10lbs of emissions crap, minus 30lbs of HICAS nonsense, minus the 15lbs of spare tire and associated hatch crap. Plus me (215lbs) an instructor (200lbs, depending), plus fuel (80lbs). That makes for a lean mean fighting weight of 3915lbs Smile Which makes this *by far* the lightest vehicle I've ever tracked 8)

ahem, mine weighs in under 3300 at the track with almost a full tank of gas thanks.
I support your decision of a supra fully; just ask Ryan, there are deals to be had if you keep your eyes open.

E46 M3 - 3400+

You can get them to about 3100 lbs without any effort - order a stripper model from the factory.

Do some weight reduction, 333hp and 3000 lbs sounds like a lot of fun Smile
