I "maybe" could have used 2nd gear coming out of turn 1 and 5... But I basically stayed in 3 and 4 every lap. Never got to 5th since I was coming to the braking zone in one... I just held the redline in 4th.

But I don't have boost and/or hp lol

well we wont be at hizzyfest at VIR to help with the trailer mods. I need to find a trailer of my own between now and my first VIR event. :twisted:

I'm busy with HOA crap this weekend but I can try to find some time to help trip the fat off the race car Smile

Unfortunately between friend's birthdays and being treated to dinner by work for being a "good boy" (worked like a dog) :lol: , I am stuck not wrenching at all this week. If you got time Saturday morning, I plan on getting in some good wrenching. (Plus you can come to Katie's cars and Coffee if you want).

They are supposed to take care of the road (lol) and make sure the dam is taken care of (we shelled out a ton of cash to have it rebuilt)... I'm the treasurer and I've found some issues with the books... There is drama in the woods!

I gave the guy in the car with the wing and black hood a thumbs up as he left the pits because I don't pay attention for shit and I thought he was you. :dunno:

And yeah, I don't worry about getting myself into a bad situation during HPDE 1. I do worry about all the sexually frustrated goobs who have purchased massively powerful cars on all seasons that show up at the track with something to prove to someone.

I actually distinctly remember the chucklefuck in this yellow C5 from way back when. I'm almost certain it was the same car, I know it was the same weekend.

He wasn't able to keep pace in the corners but refused to give us a point by, to the point where my instructor was asking what the hell they were doing in that car. After like several laps running up on him in the turns he finally gave me a point by, but wouldn't lift all the way off the throttle so we couldn't really get around him. I remember my instructor going "STAY IN IT! - WHAT IS HE DOING?!", and we were running into the braking zone for turn 1 before the dude's instructor must've really screamed at him because he backed off and let me in.

There's too much horsepower and over compensation going on, I'm trying to go out and learn how to drive, not worry about trading paint with someone that can't handle being passed in a slower car.

Ryan Herold knows I don't mind being passed by a car with ~80 less hp. :lol:
