And I agree, ANYONE who does meth is a moron. The question they avoided by making it a rider on the Patriot Act is - should everybody be forced to use less pharmacutical to help themselves during when they are suffering simply because the Police can't stop meth labs effectively? By riding it along with the Patriot Act nobody ever noticed it before it was law and thus thought 'hey, this is absolutely ricockulous.' - white_2kgt - 07-13-2007 Ryan T Wrote:CaptainHenreh Wrote:Ryan T Wrote:I take drugs for all sorts of reasons. rednecks don't make meth, we make moonshine. - Kaan - 07-13-2007 white_2kgt Wrote:Ryan T Wrote:CaptainHenreh Wrote:Ryan T Wrote:I take drugs for all sorts of reasons. gotta wash the meth down with something you know! - Ryan T - 07-13-2007 white_2kgt Wrote:Ryan T Wrote:CaptainHenreh Wrote:Ryan T Wrote:I take drugs for all sorts of reasons. I guess they have more influence after all, which is a good thing. - Ginger - 08-03-2007 WRXtranceformed Wrote:Weird, I thought I remembered reading that local judges wouldn't have the jurisdiction to be able to remove or ignore the civil fees. I guess they have more influence after all, which is a good thing. They don't have jurisdiction to alter the fees or say that they don't apply if a party is found guilty of one of the covered offenses. Any court, thuogh, can make a case that a law is unconstitutional. Regardless, that Judge has big attachments and he deserves a round of applause. - .RJ - 09-11-2007 white_2kgt Wrote:We have one amongst us, he just doesn't want to fess up Ha ha... I repent! I got a reckless ticket (speeding) in madison county a day or two after the fines went into effect. Court case was today, I had hired a lawyer who took care of everything for me, even showing up in court and it was knocked down to speeding (10 over) and a $90 fine. A few points on the license but I took a driving school online so I'm still in the black. The lawyer was $900, and I think I come out ahead in the end that way - I dont think I could've gotten it reduced that far on my own, I dont have to take a day off work and drive 2 hrs each way to sit in a court room all day and no reckless ticket to hose my insurance. So if anyone needs a lawyer, this guy was pretty good - http://www.edwardcucciaslaw.com/ - HAULN-SS - 09-11-2007 Jeebus. 1000$ was better than the original fine? - .RJ - 09-11-2007 HAULN-SS Wrote:Jeebus. 1000$ was better than the original fine?
