650. Also known as "too fucking much". I'll go stock exhaust first.

I hope you get the headers you ordered from that guy - he has had 44 people leave negative feedback in the past month........

Yeah, I never ordered them. I should have ordered them way back, when BJ did, cuz he got his.

Oh well.

For anyone still keeping track, I bought my clutch yesterday...should be here wednesday. I'm also hoping to *maybe* rebuild my driveshaft this weekend, and start on the motor reseal.

Goodbye E30. Have a nice life as a racecar. (Probably)

Well, I took the money from the E30 and got:

And a couple of games. The next Rex's Bad Idea probably won't be forthcoming until after winter, or later.

OMG! that's like... step 1. Tongue what games you get?

PGR3 and Prey, because they were cheap. I like cheap used games. Smile

I'm a little pissed that my saved games aren't going to transfer. One motivation for buying a 360 was that my xbox took a shit, and I wanted something more reliable.

So now I'm halfway through Half-Life 2 and I have to play it all over again. Sad Same for Dreamfall, but I'm not as far in on that one.

PGR3 is alot of fun though. I'm not the worlds biggest fan of "serious" racing games. I want to feel like Steve McQueen meets Jackie Stewart meets Batman when I'm playing a video game, I don't want to actually *work*. So PGR or Need for Speed has always suited me better than, say, Gran Turismo or whatever.

You wanted reliability so you bought a 360? thats like the antithesis of reliability

- Mike - 09-04-2007

yeah, pgr3 is a blast. prey? not so much. i'm about to sell test drive unlimited if you're interested. it *might* be better than pgr3, but they're both really f'ing good.

HAULN-SS Wrote:You wanted reliability so you bought a 360? thats like the antithesis of reliability

With the new 3 year warranty and the new motherboard design in the Elite (and all new xboxes) I wasn't really *too* worried. It certainly is more reliable than my fifty dolla' xbox, which served it's purpose nicely, but it's time to move on.

I mean, what alternative was there? I'm not going to buy a PS3, and I had a Wii and sold it. My 360 is pretty well ventilated, I think I'll be fine.

- HAULN-SS - 09-04-2007

I think i would've gone the used and busted route, sent it in for fixin' for free and saved a bunch of money.
